What is valuable isn't the information that comes to you from external sources, through your senses. What is valuable is the understanding that you get, catalytically, from The Voice, inside you, Which gives you an "aha that's it!!!" awareness of your truth and THE TRUTH, while simultaineously arousing your laughter --- like when you get a joke. Spiritual Masters, who are called by various names, often hide truths and The Truth, in what they say, write and do, in order to play Hide and Seek with you. Information is conceptual; and all forms of conceptual information are like boats or cars that can take you to where you want to go or to what you want. However, to get to be where you want to go or to have what you want you need to get out of the concept/you need to get out of the boat or the car. To do this you need a catalytic, Self-revealing Joker. - People world wide, have been touched, by my poetry, in magical ways. My passion is the ancient secrets of medicine. After doing Stand-up Comedy, in Atlantic City, I went to North Beach, in San Francisco, to become an actor, during the Beatnik era; and, in the mid 60's, I helped start The Artist Workshop, in Detroit, with people, like Joanie Mitchell. I studied creative writing and poetry, with D. Snodgrass, a Pulitzer Prize winning poet, who said, "All that I can say about your poetry, Mel, is that it is magical." I have, always, been given The Grace to learn from the greatest living teachers. Spiritual Masters and high profile people have tuned into my writing. I mix Humpty Dumpty with the teachings of Self-realized Masters. With me, you need to be ready, for surprises. In some ways, my writing is kind of wierd. My, only, rule is: will what I'm writing be a benefit, to you, the reader, in getting you to recognize your Self Awareness and have serene contentment.
